MISÞYRMING Icelandic Black Metal Maniacs Are Coming to VILKŲ ŽIEMA

Having received wide recognition since their very first album Söngvar elds og óreiðu (2015), the Icelandic black metal phenomenon MISÞYRMING has been successfully forging their way among the ranks of the most prominent black metal bands.

In their subsequent albums Algleymi (2019) and Með hamri (2022), the band from Reykjavík continues to develop and fine-tune their authentic sound, doing so with confidence and strong determination. MISÞYRMING records feature hyper aggressive and unyielding black metal tyranny, dynamically pierced by melodic guitars. The Icelanders don’t shy away from subtle, yet innovative experiments either. What brings them out is the increasing focus on the clarity, expression, and instrumental part, thus providing their black metal sound with unexpected vitality and grandeur. MISÞYRMING produces a fierce and arrogant black metal, which represents the true black metal values without any fake theatrics.

These Icelanders are also known for their astonishing energy during live shows. Namely their powerful and intense gigs, delivered with full dedication, is what has earned them their good reputation and respect from metal fans all over the world – truly, it’s hard to find anyone like them.
